Raven is an interdisciplinary team of natural resource professionals
with more than 65-years of combined experience in environmental planning, management, and
compliance. Our commitment is to meet the needs of each client by delivering timely,
cost-effective, and high-quality environmental services and products. Headquartered in
Huntsville, Texas, Raven was founded in 1996 and works in all of Texas, and within the
forested ecoregions of the southern United States.
Services Summary
Raven is uniquely qualified to provide turnkey environmental planning, support, and
implementation services for both the private and public sectors by offering:
- Government Contracts including federal contracts through the
U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) and Texas state, county,
and municipal contracts through the Texas Multiple Award Schedule (TXMAS).
- Inventory and analysis of natural resources including endangered species, game and
non-game species, wetlands, botanical inventories, and ecological classification.
- Mapping and project support using state-of-the-art Geographic Information Systems
and Global Positioning Systems for both small or large landowners.
- Planning including Habitat Conservation Plans, ecological restoration or wildlife
management plans (with cost-share funding proposals when applicable), and restricted-use
tax plans for Texas.
- Management of vegetation and resources including prescribed burning and also
mechanical and chemical control of understory vegetation on small tracts.
- Compliance services including NEPA documents and/or project management that require
federal compliance, special use permits, risk analysis, or environmental audits.
- Research including design and implementation, statistical analysis, field data aquisition,
writing and publication – as stand-alone research or in support of other services.
